Quote of the Week

From Miracle on 34th Street

“I’m not just a whimsical figure who wears a charming suit and affects a jolly demeanor, you know. I’m a symbol. I’m a symbol of the human ability to be able to suppress the selfish and hateful tendencies that rule the major part of our lives. If you can’t believe, if you can’t accept anything on faith, then you’re doomed to a life dominated by doubt.” -Kris Kringle

I was listening on my way in this morning and made a mental note to mention something about that KFI Luxury yarn. Such a pleasure to knit with, and super nice to wear, but it’s gonna pill like hell. I wore my pair with some shoes that fit well but a bit tight in the heel and they pilled so bad in those shoes. I still love them and wear them but I do try to be mindful of what shoes I wear them with. Not sure if Dan will be as careful….and if not, well then I guess a pair for you with your other skein!!

Dan mostly wears ones like this when he gets home at night, in his LL Bean slippers which should help but I 100% know they’ll pill! 🙂 I’m ready for it. And if they’re warm and pilly that’s still ok with me, but usually we do well with our sweater shaver… I have some too! Haven’t worn them yet! I need to get on that!
