In My Travels

• Had a bit of a crazy travel day but got some knitting done and received a warm welcome from the Knitmore Girls & their family.

• Emily from the Knitting Butterflies Podcast did family photos of Knitmores before lunch and I helped out when I could.
• We had lunch at Smash Burger which was new to me.
• We went to the convention center for the first time and picked up our Press Passes. Afterwards, we did some knitting and had a drink at the bar before leaving for dinner at Adelitas.

On a Happy Note

• Going to see Rent with Mom on Valentine’s Day
• Dan and I went to Night out with Someone Special at Riley and Garret’s school
• I’m back in the boot (walking cast) because my Achilles bursitis hasn’t healed, but I’m in good spirits about it (and didn’t have to do it until after my trip to CA)
• I got a massage this morning
• I’m taking my niece Millie out for her 4th birthday special day tomorrow!
