Abington Mitts

The Abington Mitts were designed to match my Abington Hat, They use similar repeats of twisted stitches and cables as the focal point for the top of the hand. The mitts are worked from the wrist up and are customizable. Work as many rounds as you like in the arm and in the hand to make it fit you perfectly.

About the Name

Abington is the town in Massachusetts where I met my best friend (at her mother’s dancing school) and where we each met the loves our lives- amazingly enough- they happen to be brothers. Since then, our three families have been intertwined much like the twists and cables in this hat. We may not be related by blood, but they are just as much my family and part of my heart. As I worked these twists and cables I remember how many times and ways our lives and paths have intersected and at times moved apart, always coming back together!
