Pigskin Party ’25 Sponsor Opportunities

The 12th Annual Pigskin Party will run from 9/4/25 to 2/9/26

The Pigskin Party is a knit, crochet, weaving and spin along hosted in the Down Cellar Studio Podcast Ravelry Group that runs during the NFL football season. The more players finish, the more touchdowns and field goals they score and the more points they earn. Players also increase their score by using products from our awesome sponsors or meeting other challenges and by recruiting new team members. Every 100 points= 1 entry for the grand prize drawings. We also have lots of prizes reserved for participation on Ravelry and Instagram to keep it fun and light.

Pro Shop & Snack Shack Sponsor Options:

Pro Shop Sponsors are given the opportunity to sell Exclusive items before & during the KAL (which must then be unavailable for 6 months after the event ends. They are given first option to host a spot in the Virtual Kick Off Event Weekend. Pro Shop Sponsors get a free 30-second ad on the Down Cellar Studio Podcast. Players receive 40 points for using one of your products in the making of their finished project; 60 points for using your 2025 Exclusive Product(s). This is the paid option ($85). There are a max of 25 spots.

Note- Pro Shop sponsors may not use the Official Pigskin ’25 Logo on/in products without permission from organizer, Jennifer Lassonde. Please inquire if you are interested; a limited number of sponsors will be granted this access and compensation must be negotiated. Pro Shop sponsors may use the words Pigskin Party ’25 in their product names, listings etc. It is specifically the logo that requires additional permissions.

Expectations: Will provide a prize of at least a $20 value. Will ship prize to winner directly (if applicable).

Snack Shack Sponsors will donate prizes but cannot sell KAL Exclusive products. This is free option and there are unlimited spots. Snack Shack Sponsors may not make/sell Pigskin Exclusive items, nor use the logo/Pigskin Party name in items they produce. Players receive 20 points for using one of your products in the making of their finished project.

Expectations: Will provide a prize of at least a $20 value. Will ship prize to winner directly (if applicable).

Official Sponsor The Quarter

  • This year, we will break the season down into 4 Quarters (just like a real football game)- October, November, December and January since they are the 4 full months during the event. We’ll ramp things up in September with some Tailgate fun and wind things down in February with some championship prep.
  • These Official Sponsors spots are open to anyone who is also signed up as a Pro Shop or Snack Shack Sponsor. Spots and months are chosen on a first come, first served basis.
  • Cost: $100
  • What you receive:
  • The opportunity to work with Jen and the Commissioners on a month long challenge that will help to spotlight your business. Participants will be entered to win a prize of your choosing if they’re randomly selected as a winner and will also receive even more bonus points for their finished project versus during normal play. (I reserve the right to choose images from your social media feed and/or website but if you want to share key details of upcoming events or products you want to spotlight, you must share them within the first week of the month).
  • A post on the BostonJen1 Instagram feed each week during the challenge.

Advertising Spots

Want a 30 second ad on the Down Cellar Studio Podcast? There are spots available at the rate of $20 each. Ads are limited to 4 per episode to make sure your ad stands out. I’m happy to work with you to customize the text if you need some assistance.

  • Email Address (for prize related communication)

  • Your Ravelry User Name (optional)

  • Select the types of products/services you offer (from a list)
  • Sponsor Level- Pro Shop, Snack Shack (you can request Advertising spots & Official Sponsor for the Quarter too)
    • Please only choose your first choice of slots.

Note- in August, you will receive a link to a second Google Form asking you to write up a description of the prize you’re offering up. Stay tuned for that.

All responses to the Google Sign Up Form will be reviewed in the order they were received and you’ll receive a confirmation from Jen via email. within about 1 week. Payment will be requested via PayPal invoice.
