I’m so excited to share this pattern with you for free as part of my participation in #plasticfreejuly. Having a re-usable cup/jar/bottle is a great, yet simple, way to avoid needing to buy/use plastic. This is especially important at a time, when many recyclable items simply are not being recycled). The Lion Brand Re-up yarn is a great pairing for this project. As they say on their website: “It takes, on average, 20,000 liters of water to make 1 kilogram of cotton. By using one 70 gram ball of Re-Up you are saving 1,400 liters of water.”

Just want to make this because it’s fun? Great. No judgement here! This cozy looks awesome, keeps your beverage cold (or hot) and prevents condensation from leaving a puddle in your wake on these hot summer days.
