This top-down, elongated triangular shawl is a great project for new and experienced knitters alike. The simple stockinette section at the beginning helps you learn the increase pattern. Then we add in some fun texture in short bursts which should keep you interested throughout the project! The result is a very wearable shawl that has a bit of lace without being too fancy for everyday use. Wear it over your shoulders or bandana style to add some warmth and fun to your look!

The Tan House Brook is the brook that flows through our property. In the middle of the woods it lends a lot of texture and interest to landscape and the textured patterns on this shawl are reminiscent of that.
